Thomas is currently living about 30 miles south of Erfurt, which is the state capital of Thuringia, in the university town of Ilmenau that lies at the foot of the mountainous Thuringian Forest. Ilmenau is also the sister city of Blue Ash, Ohio where The Council holds its weekly meetings. Coincidence? |

Thomas sent The Council this picture from home entitled "Many Beers" with his neighbor Ralph on the left, brother Peter with his beer up in the air, Michael or just Mike hiding behind Thomas's new room mate Daniel (but they call him Mio)! Could this actually be the first photo of the European Council Meeting? Looks like a Council Meeting! |

Thomas's farewell party was held on September 26th, 2003 as he departed to go home to Germany on Sunday. From all of your friends here at The Council, we would all like to say: Auf Wiedersehen, Au revoir, Adeus, Arrivederci, Adiós and Good-bye, Thomas. It's been a real pleasure having you with us! |

Ronnie were having fun acting as though the knife was actually going
through Ronnie's hand!

Thomas a big good-bye kiss, wished him well and thanked him for all
of the fun, laughs and good times we've all shared while he was living
here.

the Council Cookout, Thomas was introduced to Fire Water and on
July 25th, 2003
he couldn't get enough of the Hot Cinnamon Schnapps!

Who needs a glass? During the Council Meeting at Logo's Sports Bar & Grill on July 18th, 2003, Thomas gave the Crew a lesson on the proper way to consume one's favorite beverage! |

Thomas
was having another great time with the Council Crew at Hippo Joe's on
July 6th, 2003 while Dave took
a happy little nap.

On
May 9th, 2003, Thomas was surprised to actually find an empty pitcher
on the Council table and quickly pointed it out to the server who promptly
brought two more!

On
May 2nd, 2003, Thomas wanted
everyone at home to know that he is working very hard in The United
States and may want to stay a little longer just so he can learn as
much as possible!

Thomas
proved that it only takes 37 ice cold beers to put that big smile on
his face during the Council Meeting on April 25th, 2003!

A
big Council congratulations to Thomas who, during
the Council Meeting on April 18th, 2003, was unanimously voted as the
new president of the European chapter of The Council!

|
After being brave enough to come to his second Council Meeting on April 11th, 2003, Thomas was proclaimed an official US Council Member, and was awarded his very own page on thecouncil.com web site! |

John
invited Thomas to his very first North American Council Meeting on April
4th, 2003.

The
crew welcomed Thomas to the meeting and invited him to come back every
Friday to eat, drink and have fun with the ever growing group of friends
known as The Council!
